It was a draconian city, and I was pounded with Manicores, warbreeds, some priests, trebuchets, and phalanx’s.

Instead of just a slug fest, I started hitting the guy engaged with my troop with stun, and it gave me time to either pound them down, or heal my troop, or even switch out if I needed to with another troop. (the best melee troops on hand) man the ramparts and gates, so the enemy coming up (or in) has to fight them single file. I usually have a previously captured warbreed (or if lacking in them) a stone giant, troll, titan, Elrich horror, orc Goliath etc. I never really used the stun units much, and put little stock into them, but I used them last night in an epic battle to defeat a far superior force. :)īTW, all the discussion about stun attacks, really got me to nearly perfect my city defense tactics. Op here, I have only played 325 hours, but expect to double that over the next couple of months.
